...and I am not happy with it.

I spent money on some CBN and strops, and I intended to use them to put a hair popping edge on my new Duke. The problem is, I don't need to sharpen it. This is, BY FAR, the sharpest Fiddleback I have ever received. It cuts catalog paper with ease, shaves arm hair and is as sharp as any edge I can create with strops or my KME.

Thanks, Andy and the rest of the Fiddleback crew! Once again you made an awesome knife that I am proud to own.

LOL, the edges of the Fiddlebacks just keep getting better and better :)

But yeah, no pics? tisk tisk!

Yes, they just keep getting shaper and sharper!

I agree. Also, the perspective of the picture distorts the size relationship. The Duke is bigger.

The size and handle config of the production Duke lends itself to production in CPM 3V for harder use, in addition to S35VN.

whew! I saw the opening and was all steeled to hear the worst. I'm glad you like it. I think the Duke is perfect for the production process and I'm excited about it!

We were amazed at how sharp they are but also how well the hold that edge. Really impressive!

The production Duke is my new favorite woods bumming knife. I wish I'd have had it rather than my trusty rusty Kabar that I carried everywhere when I was a kid.

Mine arrived yesterday, and I can easily see me developing that exact same opinion, especially here in the southeast. Would really liked to have had this one in my Everglade days. It was very peaceful camping out on the west cape in the autumn on the mid 80s. Man this thing has a very nice edge, the balance is excellent, it handles very well, and feels great in hand.

Its very light feeling to me. Every time I pick one up it surprises me. It doesn't look light...
