EDIT - There will be a production Duke, NOT a Woodsman. Link to thread is posted in a post below.

I thought that I read something about a production Woodsman in a thread a few weeks or a month ago. I might be TOTALLY wrong. However, if there is actually going to be a production Woodsman at some point, does anyone know what steel will be used? Also, does anyone have a link to the thread where it was discussed and pics of the prototype were posted?

I hope someone remembers the thread about future production models and can let me know what steel will be used in the upcoming Woodsman. Thanks!

That's a new one on me. I saw the model standard knife used for the Kephart a few weeks ago - but nothing Woodsman. Before the shop was moved, I kinda recall seeing plans (patterns) for the Kephart & Duke. Might check back through some of my sneak peeks from prior to the shop move.

From what I have heard, the next three are the Kephart, Duke, and Bushboot. But I have only seen the Kephart as far as blanks go.

Thanks for the suggestion to look at "Sneak Peek" threads. That was definitely where I remember seeing it, and it was the Duke, not the Woodsman.

Also check SP 5/5/2015. That's where the pic of the patterns is located; Duke, Bushcrafter, Kephart, Bushboot.

We currently have no plans to do a production Woodsman. The Duke is being assembled, the spines polished, marked and sharpened as we speak. It is CPM S35VN steel.

In the past month or so The Woodsman, any Woodsman, has become my White Whale. :D

woh with a RLO sheath as well, both in great condition for that price? that was a steal. Congrats to whoever snagged it :D

Yeah. I saw that one a few days ago. Not sure why but I forgot about them and by the time I checked it was sold. In Osage even. The pain is real. ;)

Sorry, that would be me. I think I caught it just about the time they posted it.
Now I need a Duke in Osage.
