Hi Louis...

There aren't too many factory blades that come with sheaths set up for IWB unless they have a boot clip or a Tek Lok.

However I can sheath most Any type of blade and make it Concealed IWB carry, so taking an existing blade and re-sheathing it isn't a problem at all.

A good amount of factory blades are definately in need of a better sheath anyway, so if your friend has a favorite knife,, but doesn't like the sheath, have him drop me a note and I'll fix him up...

hello;

well, although i would also suggest getting a costum sheath made. i understand the desire to find a knife that comes with inside the waistbelt stock. i own a boker bud nealy specialist and like it a lot. you can pick one up at a very good price at a number of online sites.

I believe that the sheath for the Camillus CQB uses the Tek-Lok system, I'm mot sure though.

Just to clarify,
The CUDA CQB-1, as designed by Bob Terzuola, comes from us with a Concealex sheath made by BLADETECH, complete with a TEK-LOK for on the belt carry and a 'IWB loop'for inside-the-waistband carry. Its a very versitile system. I carry my CQB1 IWB almost everyday.

Everything you need is included in the box!

I know it's not exactly what you asked for, but I have a Benchmade 140HS in a sheath by Normark. I carry it nearly exclusively IWB, and can hardly tell it's there. And, Eric has his own, so your friend would not have to send the blade there. This sheath is far nicer than any I've seen with production blades, so you may want to encourage your friend to look at a high quality sheath as an add-on, rather than settling for whatever can be found which comes with the knife (some production knives do have decent IWB sheaths, but I haven't seen any as good as this).

P.S., the 145HS might be better for more covert carry, if your friend wants to avoid undue attention.

Lets see...your looking for productions? IIRC the Spyderco Moran comes with a kydex sheath and has a tek-lok. The tek-lok works well for IWB carry, although a tad bulky. Otherwise eric(normark) should be able to fix ya right up. I dont have one of his sheaths, but I have heard good things about them.

Boker Specialist popped into mind.

CRKT KISS series have attachable clips.

Spyderco Moran.

Camillus CQB.

Some of Cold Steel's sheaths have clips, but not reversible.

Does the MOD Ayoob accomodate IWB?

Are you talking static cord, clip, or fabric loop?

Sort of stating the obvious, but there is always the option of rigging up a loop with a snap, too...

BENCHMADE Nimravus Cub works very well for me in this role.

I have one with sheath designed for low belt carry (recent edition), so I removed the belt adapter and replaced it with steel belt clip from my full sized Nimravus.

Very reasonable alternative for tactical folder.

CRKT Bear Claw also can be carried IWB.

In fact you can carry each neck knife IWB warping chain or paracord around the belt

The older style Nimravus (and Cub) sheath made for pretty comfortable IWB carry. I haven't had any interaction with the newer style sheaths.

I'll put yet another plug in for Eric. I have two of his sheathes and they are top notch. Great price and great service too.

Hey Guys...

WoW,, Thanks for the Plugs....

My favorite is the BM Nimravus with the old style sheath. It carries great inside the waist. My Camillus QCB1 also carries well inside the waist with the loop although it is a little long. My boker carries pretty well inside the waist although the loop is a little big for my belts. I think the nimravus would be your best choice. Take care.
