Production Folding Wharncliffe

I recently saw a picture of a custom wharncliffe and I was in awe of the blade shape.

It just looks more useful to me than a lot of other blade shapes and easy to sharpen too!

The problem is, I do not have 500$ to spend on a custom.

Does anybody know of any production wharncliffes (100-200$ range) that are around 3.5 inches in blade length?

Any feedback is much appreciated.

I find that the Kershaw Leek, although not a true wharncliffe, gives about the same utility.

Another favorite of mine that has just a bit of curve the other way is the Microtech Kestrel.

I got so many knives with the Wharncliffe Blade that I should be shxt for owning so that many.!** They not only look good but they cut like a Razor and get a comment or two any place I use one and the first thing they always ask is where can I get one and of course I show them a way to get rid of there savings account and for there wife to divorce them.! Helps you to get rid of your savings and your pay check and steal from the Piggy Bank. Very addictive.***

The ZT0770 is a wharncliffe style blade

Spyderco has made a few nut I think most are discontinued.... rescue, rock lobster, but they still make the kiwi, pingo, and yojimbo

If you want to to try out relative to your usage, the Cold Steel Tuff Lite is a really handy wharncliffe/sheepsfoot blade design with a low price tag.

(This is a fixed blade vs folder.) My Dozier K-42 Compact Personal (I keep forgetting the #, and looked it up for this post) has about a 2.5" Wharncliffe blade that I find handy as an EDC now and then. It's a fixed blade which Dozier's horizontal kydex belt sheath. It is within your budget as I recall. Opps, this one is in CPM 154 and exceeds your budget by about $50.

The Griptilian comes in a Sheepsfoot, and the Sebenza Insingo is also a modified wharncliffe. I'm a big fan of the blade shape myself.

Brous Bionic. Its only 3", but its a nice flipper with D2 steel.

Boker Anso Cox for the smaller slippie version, and there is a little larger version too. Awesome knives. German made.

BlackHawk makes a 'Be Wharned', which is also a Michael Janich design before (I think?) he did the Yojimbo for Spyderco.
