Whitty I'm just trying to poke at you. If I order my Spyderco boy one of these, maybe I'll get them.

You rock my friend. We finished another tray of these today. I am so glad folks are liking the knife!

do they fit the Esee molle backs?

If they don't, but the holes are uniform from one sheath to another I can do up a drawing and send it to the guy who makes the kydex sheaths for my knife designs, to have him be able to make his webbing belt loops for these. I like those so much better than the ESEE molle back as far as belt carry goes. For actually molle-ing in to something, for me it will be fine as is. At most I would just add another set of holes. Then molle it via para cord and a cord lock.. The sheath would be easily attachable inside belt for discrete carry as it is now via the same type of set up. I end up bugging myself when I use sheaths and stuff from other knife brands on my Fiddlebacks. I have one of my favorites in a Condor sheath now and that drives me batty while I look around for a sheath made for it. Because the record I have had with important things sent through the USPS, I will just make my own sheath before I will risk shipping this one at all.

It is the single best production bushcrafting knife value available through a dealer yet in my opinion. :D What's not to like?

I have had three local friends send me pics of their mid-tech Kepharts and thank me for helping them find them in the last three days. And now one o them has hired me to teach him how to do the techniques I used in the review of it. I am happy about it and liking it on multiple levels! So thank you for getting them into production :)

one thing that I really like on these over the custom version is a bit more square edge on the scales. You get less twisting with the knife and a more natural secure grip. If you partially close your hand into a circle you can see why.

Yeah, you're absolutely right about that. Another thing I like is that the scales are fairly beefy overall. I realize the custom versions vary somewhat, and so you might have slightly slimmer, or beefy. The production scales are real consistent, so if you like 'em a bit on the larger side, they'll be right in your wheelhouse.
