Production Knife Customization

Hello! First post from a relapsing knife enthusiast here. I had a simple question that I just couldn’t find a direct answer to in my lurking and searching. I am wanting to do some modifications/customizations to a production knife, the Kizer Sheepdog XL, and was wondering if I could get pointed in the right direction? Either the proper thread or an actual person/company that may be able to do the work. I’m looking to get a blade re-grind and also custom scales or custom metal parts added to the scales/handle. Thanks for any help that can be provided!

Edited to add name of specific knife

A lot of it is going to depend on which knife. Many custom workers specialize in particular knives/brands.

That would definitely be useful information huh? Haha! It’s the Kizer Sheepdog XL. I will edit the original post. Thank you!

I'm sure there are others, but Unlocked Composites is the only company I know that makes custom scales for the Sheepdog XL off the top of my head.

Maybe shoot this guy an email? Not sure if he did the work himself, but the customs inlays and blade look right up your alley.

They are right up my alley indeed. I will reach out to both of them to see if I can find what I’m looking for. Truly appreciate the assistance brother.
