Ever have a production knife you wish you could change?

I've got this Timberline Large Wortac I just love except...
I wish it were tip-up carry.
I wish it opened with an oval hole.
I wish the handles were G10 and grippier.
Hell, if it had an Axis lock I'd be done buying knives!

(OK, maybe not, but close.)

Don't mind me. I'm just venting. This COULD be an interesting topic though.

I would make the Case Mako or Hammerhead a lockback with a thumbstud. Like the older Blackjack folders. That would be pretty cool. Have ats34 for the blade. That would be a great user!

If I could change my PE Spyderco Chinook;

The blade would be 5.4 inches long.
The pocket-clip would be "lefty-friendly" (like the Endura/Delica), and it would be "tip-up".

I would also like to have the scales on my SE Spyderco (Massad) Ayoob folder changed-over to G-10.

You know what'd be cool? A Kershaw speed-safe like the Whirlwind or Boa except Tip-up with a hole instead of a stud.

Also an Auto with the button on the BACK of the knife near the end of the clip (tip-up) so your finger would be right there when you drew. How about UNDER the clip so you could SQUEEZE the clip after you drew to deploy!

Faster knives - FASTER - yeah, yeah! (hear Bevis here.)

If I could I would put the thumb stud on the Columbia River Viele model as close to the tang of the blade as possible. As it is, the thumb stud really inteferes with the cutting edge of the knife.

Microtech Socom Elite Manual with S30 blade (why not?) but with a BUTTON LOCK! (the auto's have better feeling handles and are lighter)

And back in production. . .

I wish my CRKT Pointguard were made with AUS 8 instead of AUS 6M.

And maybe an axis or arc lock on my Tomcat...I don't know if it would work considering it's size but it would be interesting though...

I wish I could have the BM-710 with Talonite, an opening hole, and tip down carry. That's not to much to ask is it???:p

A Buck 560 with a clip and a thumbstud. Get it in BG-42 or the ionfusion blade and sweet!!

CRKT F4 that has room on the handle for a pinky, comes with satin/mirror finish and wood scales.

Oh wait! They made one. It's the 943!

Since i got mine, my Socom E and lil Sebbie have been feeling a little neglected (but I still love them).

Doesn’t it have the studs there for the purpose of supporting the blade when its open, rather than as an opening method?

A Case whittler or congress pattern in stag or bone WITH CARBON STEEL BLADES. Or an Old Timer stockman with bone scales.

I want a fixed blade MT Socom Elite, (full tang,) With a 6 inch Plain blade made of S30-V steel in the stonewashed finish.

Junkyard

I'd like to change marbles knives back to 52100.

I would like to see Old Timers have nicer scale materials, such as jigged bone.

I wish they would make the Buck 110 with more steel options, some of them carbon steels.

I'd like to see Benchmade grind their edges thinner so it didn't require so much reprofiling to get them like I like them.

I'd like to see Busse and Becker offer satin finished blades instead of only the black coated ones. Include Swamp Rat in that also.

I hate black coatings.:barf:
