Are there any production numbers available on the 560? I'd like to kow how many were made in each model - grey Ti, gold sparkle, and black/black (were there more variants?)

I doubt we can get stuff like that until Joe is back in the saddle and caught up at work.

Prior to that, we're hoping he'll be logging in from home to include us in his recovery plan.

We're all ready to talk knives with him and encourage him to get better fast.

A little love will always be a help to healing!

:)

Good question. I have some information on the last 75 560s.

Here is a photo of a Buck document dated 8-27-2009, courtesy of THE_LONGBOW, inventorying 75 knives made from the last of the titanium handles. I hope that it helps.

I have one from this list (my desire for it encouraged me to join BCCI). It is fantastic and its is one of twelve, third line down. I had to darken the pic to make the print readable. I keep this document folded and inside the knife's box.

RH, I may can locate some of those numbers for you . There were other variants . Why do people ask these questions ? DM

David, I don't know about "people" and these kinds of questions, but I can only tell you why I'm asking this question - because as an out-of-production collectible, I'm curious how "rare" certain variants are, which would enhance their desirability and value for collectors.

If I recall correctly, I may have posted some production numbers for the 560 on the BCCI Web Site. I may not have all the 560WC Xlt-Ti numbers but the 186, 560, 560GT and 560 BT should be there. Join the club and look 'em up!

Richard,

Good to hear from you.

If you ever get an opportunity it would be outstanding of you to post a pic of the brass 111. Even a cell phone pic would be wonderful.

If you bring it to OKCA in April, Sunday, I'll be happy to photograph it myself.

Thank you kindly.

All the best,

Steve

I know you want to see the brass 111. I am thinking about getting a camera and a computer but they will have to wait for some other priorities. I will try to get my daughter to take the picture in the mean time. I should be seeing her in May. Hang tight.

You are a champion, gentleman and a scholar Richard. May you live for a thousand years.
