Production Schedule

Would it be possible for a company rep to post a calendared production schedule of pending blades (in that the company web site is not up and running) or will the factory continue with posting new items on the forum (with limited ordering time) to generate interest?

Is the "tenative production schedule" very acurate?

Actually, the production schedule is posted somewhere around here. I believe up near the top of the forum. I believe it is accurate to the order in which they will be done, and all times are approximate to two weeks;)

As for the stuff posted on here... They are special editions and such, so they post them when they got them as I understand.

Stuff posted on the forum is "military overruns". Leftovers from other orders, much of which will not be part of the regular Busse line.

So far as we know, the production schedule order is accurate (Active Duty and Natural Outlaw first month, Steel Heart third month) but it's already behind. New models were supposed to order in September if I remember correctly, for shipping 4-6 weeks later. However, none of the first line has been released yet. I even threatened to show up on the doorstep of the shop and throw money to get a new NO. No dice, but I did get an invitation to lunch. :D

Read the thread "Announcement and Schedule" currently third from the top. One of the Blade West threads has more details on each new model - including pics of the prototypes, specifications, and expected cost. Sorry I'm too lazy to search for it now.

Thanks bros. It would be nice if the factory would get it straightened out with a general calendar of expected model releases but it appears that they would find it difficult to maintain the integrity of any calendar schedule of model releases and things would just become that much more confusing. I may be mistaken but I do not believe that there has been any announcement from the factory regarding specific models and when they will or should be available unless the post near the top by Thatmguy is considered an official factory announcement. No offense Thatmguy it's just that I do not know if you are directly affiliated with the factory or just helping them out with posting what you believe is pertinent info. Perhaps it would just be better to have some standard models with specific modifications available.

All the very best regards,

Stuart

Stu, as I recall, the post that ThatMGuy (Mike) stuck at the top is a quote of a post made by Jerry himself, with a modification of the months of release. The original post had months for each parings release. Website difficulties and other unforseen production delays have forced the original months to become irrelevant. I copied it from the post my self and have it holed away in a word doc somewhere around here. Also, as far as I know Mike is pretty high up as far as having good info from the big man, so you judge for yourself. We are all anxious for the new stuff, but I personally give Jerry and the crew the benefit of the doubt. If they could have it done yesterday while maintaining their required level of quality, I am sure they would have. As it stands, we stand by patiently.

Tohatchi NM! You got an invite to lunch? Lucky dog.

Copy that. In essence, it sounds as if the top posted "schedule" is now moot. I was under the impression (and occasionally under the influence) that I might miss out on a particular offering. Thanks Progunner.

No problem Stu. Don't worry about missing out on the production run. When it comes on line, I am sure there will be a whole mess of hootin', hollerin' and pistols a blazing on main street. I would say putting dates to the production pairings is moot, but as far as I have heard, the actual pairings and order of roll out has not changed. I am sure Jerry will let us know when things shake down to a more solid status.
