Hey All,

I've been looking around and it seems like there are a few folding knives in S30V (Kershaw Blur and Buck Vantage and I think there was another I'm forgetting) in the $65-75ish range.
I haven't seen any S30V fixed blades in that price range though. Are there any?

I know Cold Steel does the Hunter line in 3V, which is awfully tempting at the price, but I'm passing on it for now.

The Spyderco Bill Moran fixed blade is a fantastic knife in vg-10 (better than s30v for my taste). Right now there are a bunch listed on that auction site for under $100.

Buck open season series makes a few.

Benchmade steep mountain and knives of Alaska alpha Wolf (suregrip) can be had for right around $100

Also if you trust 'em, SOG and Gerber have some options...

Benchmade hunt series hidden canyon hunter is really what you want.
Just do it.

It's only $30 more.

Look around for a good used Buck Mayo Kaala S30v.
Right in your price range, BOS heat treat, and no nonsense blade.

Kabar Snody Snake Charmer is a small neck knife in that price range. It's S35VN rather than S30V, though.

I know it's higher than what you mentioned buy the benchmade 162 is an excellent knife. It may feel weird just holding it in a store, but will feel great when you actually start using it .

I didn't buy it for the longest time bc of the handle, but when I was presented a deal I couldn't pass up I took it. As soon as I began using it the design made sense and became one of my favorites.

If you shop around a lil or watch the exchange it can be had for around $120 at times.

The Alaskan Guide series of Buck knives are priced around $100 or a tad less at the moment. They are in S30V.
