CRK Umfaan. Temporarily out of production but word is a new version is forthcoming from Boise.

The Mirage has a 420 J2 Stainless Steel liner inter-frame mounted between tough, textured Zytel scales...
Is there a different CRKT Mirage that is a titanium integral? I certainly didn't know about the S2.

yup, integral lock was what Chris Reeve (generally credited with the introduction of the framelock) called the "framelock".

the MT Socom elite M/A is not a titanium framelock tho, it has an aluminium frame reinforced with a stainless steel cap at the lock face.

this thread is good...anymore?

now what would also be good would be have Cliff Stamp test the strength of each maker's framelock.... :D

There was a Ti framelock Mirage. Never much talk about it, though.

don't forget the Benchmade 335 Big Spender Limited Edition....TI framelock, D2 blade. I have one on the way.

Did Protech ever get theirs into production? I think it was called the "Integrity" That may have been a custom only...

Just for the record, Chris's name for the lock is "Integral Liner Lock". I bring it up because Chris was giving credit to Michael Walker, the man credited with inventing the "Liner Lock". Chris took Walker's concept and applied it differently.

And yes, the Protech Integrity was made. Very nice knife.
