I'm really a gun guy so please excuse my knife ignorance. I have a Bark River Mini Canadian that I like very much for cleaning deer. Since I like the concept of a convex blade I've been trying to convex my Izula and having a bear of a time with it. I'd like to send it to someone who can really convex this thing for me. I can maintain it after the work is done but getting the edge right to start with is beyond my level of skill/patience. Who can I send this poor Izula to?

Thanks.

I took some knives down to Richard J for sharpening and got to stand by and watch him put a convex on them.
All of the edges are even and beyond shaving sharp; the hair acts as it it jumps out of the way of the blade.
One of the knives is a hand made kitchen knife and just for fun I was able to cut paper thin slices of tomato.
Another was a 12" khukri and after he sharpened it we tested the edge on a piece of hardwood and it held up beautifully.

Just finished up the convex regrind and sharpening. New behind the sharpened bevel thickness 0.008 :)

Here are a few before and after pictures
