Professional knife sharpener - Greater Chicago area?

I am looking for a professional knife sharpener in the Greater Chicago-area, preferably either the far western suburbs or downtown Chicago. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Northwestern Cutlery just outside the loop is reasonable. I went to have a 10" Old Hickory sharpened once and they were cool. 2 or 3 bucks to sharpen while I checked out some folders. http://www.nwcutlery.com/

Agreed. They're down on west Lake near the Randolph Street dining district, you see a lot of cooks, butchers and whatnot there. Some nice folders too

I've head people recommend "Bagat Bros. Knife sharp service" on Roosevelt over in Forrest Park, butthose people weren't exactly "knife people." Look them up and give them a call. Not exactly far west, but west.
