After I purchased a small Sebenza, I was stoked. Amazed. Blown away. Whatever term you can use - but I haven't seen such tolerances till date. Interestingly, I got an opportunity to purchase the Professional Soldier as well, and I picked it up - without any hesitation. And it is a superb piece of engineering. The rounding of the edges is so neat, that the knife just melts into your hand - you never feel any harsh corners. Its smooth as silk.

The only improvement I'd suggest is to have a drain hole in the kydex sheath. I'll update this review as I use the blade. So this review is ongoing. :-)

Without too much blabber, here are some shots of the Professional Soldier. Enjoy.

Size comparison with the Izula:

What a well-balanced blade:

No harsh edges, all are rounded, including the jimping:

I picked one up a few months ago and am as pleased with mine as you are with yours. Although some say it's a neck knife, I find it a bit too big for that, it its perfect for pocket carry.

So it's not uncommon for me to now have a SAK, folder and the PS on me at any given moment.

The PS is a cracking wee knife, good handy size and good handy blade shape, but I'm not a fan of skeletonised handles so I sold mine. I just couldn't get a cord wrap to feel good in the hand and never got round to making scales for it. I wish I had now but the Nyala comes in close and while aimed at different users they are pretty similar knives all in all, IMO :)

I really like the PS and have carried it off and on since I got it. I have not used it super heavy and I am sure if I did, it would not be comfortable since it is a skeleton handle. But for the EDC I have used it for it functioned perfectly. I have an UZULA and like it better than that, mostly because of the longer blade. I see CRK now came out with a Tanto and Insingo PS. I would like to get the tanto eventually.

I did a review on the PS years ago. Interested to see if you have the same thoughts as I do.....?

a great light fixed blade, handy and good in many occasions where you want a fixed blade
carry and use it often

only complaint it's not good for food, cut pizza and it was hard to remove the dry food, left some "stain" on the gunkote, used flitz and it came back new
