Is using my profile page to make an offer on a sales thread a violation of forum rules?

This is the second time this has happened and I think it's people that don't have Direct/Private Message privileges.

I have no problem ignoring them as I say to PM for info but should they even be on my profile page?

It's not a violation...it's the only way non-paying members can contact others without another contact method such as email. If you're not willing to sell to non-paying members, make that clear in your listings.

Also, may want to ask a mod to move this to Tech Support.
