I am a gold member. I'm trying to change my profile pic. I'm trying to upload from my phone but it keeps saying it failed. Am I doing something wrong or can some please give me some advice.

If you mean avatar (the picture that appears by your name in your posts), there is a pretty severe limit on how big it can be. When I was Platinum, the picture I used had to be resized to a fourth of its original modest size and cropped by another 50%. Cell phone pix these days are way, way too big to upload here.

Profile pictures are limited to 600x600 pixels and 97kb.
Avatars are 120x120 and 9.8kb.
I believe that applies to Gold, you'll need to shrink them down to that size before they will work. There's resizing apps for your phone that should do it.
