Ok, so what specifications should a good Villager khukuri have:
Blade:
- Good forging
- RC about 57-59
- good steel - hopefully
- good blade design style
Handle:
- wooden, well seasoned, not lacquered.
- tang should go through handle completely.
-buttplate should be simple, about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick brass or steel.
- bolster - well done without any jagged edges and is well secured.
Karda and Chakma
-hopefully useable, but not always.
Scabbard:
-sturdy, well constructed, able to stand up to hard use.
Price:
- affordable for a working khukuri
Any other qualifications that should be added?
