I had the pleasure of talking to Bob today about knifemaking, and things eventually drifted to manufacturing. With his design skills and my cnc capability, we might just have a winning combination. After we finished talking, I went out to the shop and cut these prototypes. Material is 1/4" Delrin.

(Sorry I wasn't able to cut the Defender version, Bob. I ran out of space on the sheet. If you want, I can find a large piece of material and recut it.)

Looks like that all went perfectly! Now we just have to give it a try with actual steel.

It's getting closer to a real knife! Here it is cut out of 154CM. Tonight I'll grind both sides, then it's off to heat treat.

It's all looking good! I can't wait to see how the CNC grinding comes out.
