I wanted to share this with you oinkers so that you can all know that Progunner is up to new and cool tricks…

He and I were chatting about my just getting a Mofo into my collection and about different carry options… He sent me a sheath of his own making which fit my knife perfectly! It is a kydex rig that is made well and has the ability to hold onto the Mofo without fail when carried upside down. I attached the rig to a pack and jumped up and down for a while to test the sheath’s retention and it held fast. The sheath is made using a decently thick kydex, it has a very tight fit and finish, still allowing for fast draw, with a drainage hole built into the back side only, allowing for drainage without exposing the knife to grit from the outside.

Though you may only know him as Pro-Oinker you may now want to think of him as a new resource for your sheath making needs. I give him Two-Oinks for his kydex sheath making ability!

I want to add that John is a great guy to talk and do business with, so don’t hesitate to contact him about your sheath needs, he probably has ALL the Busse knives in hand already so you may not need to send yours to him. :D

If someone can help me post pics I will send them along….

Man, I saw the heading for this one and thought I was in some real trouble! :D

Thanks for the kind words Peter.

I also would like to praise Progunners sheath making skills.
He made one for me in mouth watering advantage camo, the workmanship is superb.

I think I may own one of his first Kydex....He had made one for his BaIII and I liked it and He sold it to me!!

Gosh, you fellas are gonna make me blush. :D

Viking313, you do indeed have one of the first ones I made. That was when I was making them with a heat gun. I'll only use a heat gun for tweeking now a days. :D

:D I have a little left probably enough to do a JABA or something of similar size.

Peter asked that I post this for him. I do so at the risk of appearing self serving, this is not my intent.

Thanks Progunner!

I can't post pics myself so I asked Progunner to do it for me...

The sheath is made of .090 Kydex and fits like the proverbial glove! It may look odd (at first glance) that the blade catch is exposed but given the design of the sheath it allows for a fast draw with no issue at all about snagging the catch when it is in the sheath. The teklock can be moved to any number of positions on the sheath and is currently in a canted cross-draw position... just for fun.

Don't hesitate to contact the man about getting a sheath!

...and here I thought from the title you were turning tricks for INFI... :D

...hey?!?! Would that work??? :footinmou
