This one's for a customer. A classic drop point hunter style. 9inch OAL, 4inch cutting edge, O-1 tool steel 5/32inch stock, cryo, triple temper, full tapered tang, red liners and Ivory Micarta slabs. 416SS fittings with my signature star-carved pins. Hope you like it. Jason.

Very nice. Drop points are what started me into custom knives, so they're always dear to my heart. Love the ivory micarta.

A beautiful knife. I really like the thumb notches into steel and handle, it is a neat ideea. Is the blade flat ground?

One of the nicer looking knives I have seen in a long time.

There are a lot of amazingly fancy knives out there that don't appeal to me half as much as this knife does.

In two words - simple elegance.

I can appreciate what it takes to make a knife like this work so well Jason. With only a few elements in the design, you are forced to REALLY make it all extremely clean for it to "work" at all.

I love it. The finish is fantastic.

You made me realize I really need to use that white paper micarta I bought a couple years ago! ;)

Keep it up Jason!

Yeah, what Nick said. :)

I'll bet it feels REAL good in your hand too!

The ivory micarta slabs look great. I don't recall seeing those kind of slabs before.

Nick's description really nailed it... simple elegance...

...and that isn't an accident.

Great finish and attention to details. Flat grinds don't look quite as eye catching as hollows, but I like 'em anyway, and your plunges and finish make it snap anyway. I also like the thumb notches... they look rounded and comfortable.

That pic got saved into my ever-growing catalog of pics, alongside your "no excuses" tactical and your sculpted blackwood handled O1 4.5" hunter.

Very clean look, and very finished work, Jason. Excellent.
