Getting started on the next book spot, this Hom Design "Taranis" is getting some embellishment on the spines of the handles...the name Taranis refers to the Celtic God of Thunder so some knotwork seems appropriate! Time to start sketching!😁

Took a bit to come up with a knot that ties in with the existing slots and holes, I think this works nicely! This is gonna be a fun one, now I'll get it disassembled and ready to start work on it Friday😁

Getting the final surface finishes dialed in before anodizing, taking the background down to a satin finish really helps the polished knotwork "pop"😁

As usual, I promise I'll get better daylight video😂...but this Bali Ballistic / Jerry Hom "Taranis" is DONE! Hand engraved and selectively anodized titanium handles, polished bare Ti/gold ano knotwork on a satin blue ano background...I'm absolutely thrilled with how it came out!😁
