does look like a ton of time and steady hand type work...but looking great so far.......

Got the first pass on the design done and sanded it out to 800 grit, now I'll recut everything to even it out then sand it out to 2k

Changed up the color scheme a bit from the original drawing, doing a purple base with hand highlighted "corner edges" to tie into the flame coloring on the hardware and add another layer of depth to the design (using the @reactivemetalsstudio "anodic marker" for this).
