Ive got a beast of a blade that Im working on a project with. Think I will try some Becker grivory grips on it. Dont make fun of me too much. This will just be a chopper for me. 1090 steel blade over a 1/4 inch thick should do the job. Love the BK grip style so why not? Any suggestions on where to buy the grips?

Mods if this shouldnt be in the Becker forum, I appoligize, please move as need. Figure its slightly Becker related.

Thread is fine to me. That's a monster chopper. Send me your address, and I'll stick some Grivory in the mail for you.

Dude that's a apocalypse chopper if I've ever seen one. Kick bass man. Grivory will fit her nicely

It is a beast. 18" overall length, 11 1/2" blade. Just over 5/16 inch thick actually. I think grivory would look and handle quite well on it....Oh, and I had to show off the new BK7 sheath. Shes sexy ;)

I hope you know POPO, this means war! I will not be outknifed!

Thanks guys. Anyone know where I can buy some grivory and the hardware along with it?

that's a hibben iii, right? i thought about doing the same thing to mine. i really dig the machete but always thought it needed a better handle than just the wrap. hope to see the finished photos!

Well POPO, I am not really sure how I am going to out do that. I mean, I don't have any designs sitting around aside from the kuk, and unfortunately, it isn't bigger than that. I can't make it bigger without sacrificing the thing that was primary about it, and that is that it was lighter than Sheila. I think you have this won, once you get the handles changed over of course. Just a little jealous I might add.

it's a little light for a heavy khukri, but it will do :D :D :D :D :D :D

HI had some crazy choppers in the 3-5 pound range. good times. huge stuff.

big choppers da way to go man
