Getting started on the next commission piece, the inspiration I was given was "something dragon-ish to match the Dragonskin blade, maybe some flames around the blade end" and I think I nailed it! Should look awesome with some surface finish work and heat coloring

It's stainless so I'm limited in color choice, shooting for blue scales and gold flames. Time to get started!

Sanded out to 800 grit, now I'll recut everything the other direction to get it cleaned up and even

awesome. the shading lines cut in, and looking at it at the right distance...... makes those scales pop up like 3d kinda. looks great. well done.

Enamel laid in, time to get baked! Then it's gonna be some surface finish work and a light torch sear to really make it pop

I don't normally do heat coloring on stainless due to the finicky nature and limited color pallete, but this Marfione Custom Knives stainless chassis UT-11 is a special case! I think it all comes together quite nicely
