Project Ratweiler

I recently aquired a user Ratweiler that I felt would be a great project knife.
She started life (with me) like this

After a quick strip and a bit of grinder work, we were here (chewing up belts along the way)

Then I got the crazy idea to add a swedge

Here we are today, with a freshly forced patina

Now I'm waiting on my handle material to get here. its between green and black linen, or maroon linen

Very nice, I like that patina! I'd go with the green and black linen....
