To those who own a Project, have you found that certain types of hones (particular material or grit) give a better edge with Reeves A2?
By better I mean less resistance on push cuts, more "bite" on slicing, less deformation on high impact work and overall better durability and edge holding.
Chris, I would appreciate as well your thoughts on why you use the finish you currently put on the Projects, which I think it a high polish with a loaded buffer. Correct me if I am wrong.
