I just picked up 2 Prolites (Clip Point) at a great price. Very nice, definitely smaller and not as heavy duty as a Recon 1, but still very substantial. I was worried about the triad-lock being impossible to close (seems to be the only major issue with this model). Luckily both of them were ok, just slightly “sticky”. They’re still out there if anyone is interested. They would make fantastic beater knives. Will start rotating this as my edc…time I give my Counterpoint 2 some rest. Going to put the American Lawman purchase on hold, mofo’s raised the price by $20, LOL!!!

I love the Prolites! The one below is my modified Tanto. I had a Sport model, but gifted it away. To me, these are well made, feel great in hand, easy to carry (don't shred pants, none of that lefty/righty clip nonsense) and perfect size for EDC. The 4116 is easy to sharpen and very corrosion resistant. Amazing knives for the money, and a great, utilitarian Demko design.
