averageiowaguy/KR Versteeg posted an unboxing video last night on my Facebook group Slipjoint Addict, of the Prometheus Designwerx Danger Ranger Bear scout knife. Now, before some of your heads explode, this knife is a true scout knife, I believe made by Queen. 154CM, it has the Queen hallmarks to it. I would like to get one, but can't foot the bill right now, hopefully it will still be available after the holidays.

Can anyone confirm that this is made by Queen? Obviously not Case, most likely not Canal Street, that leaves GEC or Queen. I haven't seen any GEC scout knife patterns, but going by the can opener, this looks like a Queen model. BTW, it is good to see a primarily tacticool company partnering with a major traditional cutlery house, I've seen a big shift away from one handed openers to more traditional blades.

Other than the blade steel, the specs and overall appearance look identical to the Schatt & Morgan Scout knife. Guessing it is a Queen SFO in the 154CM steel.

I saw this knife first when bladeforum member caine posted it on facebook. My guess was Queen too. It's a very nice looking knife, especially in the green jigged bone. Not real fond of the awl - not pointy enough. That said, I don't see me swinging the price they are asking for it.

Yeah, 154CM and CPM154 steels are my favorite stainless steels, but for that price, whoo, man, I don't know.
