In 2002 or 2003, I can't remember which, as Kim lay in a vegetative state, I held my my just-received Custom Shop satin/snakeskin Active Duty in front of her eyes and told her that it was hers and I was putting it away until she could carry it deer hunting with me. At that time, this was a totally outlandish prospect.

We are leaving today for my mother's house, and tomorrow I will keep that promise.

(The rest of the story for you new guys: I told about giving her the knife on this forum. In about a week I had a package with a nice note from Jerry and Jennifer, replacing the AD I had given Kim. You have fallen in with good people.)

That is incredible.

I'm very happy for you and wish you all the enjoyment that comes with fulfilling that promise.

God bless you and your family.

Mike - Congratulations

Kim - Good luck and bring home the venison (bacon) :D

Outstanding:thumbup:

Congrats to you both.

Good luck and be safe.
