Harvested today at 8:05AM, and the distance was 210 yards. The weather was crappy: snowing, extremely windy, and below freezing. The location was about 10 miles north of Moorcroft, Wyoming.

Oh, and my Satin + Snakeskin SJTAC was used once again to create the infamous gutpile.

Alright! Now we want to know what knife you brought with you to dress it out with??

Lunde,

With all your antelope hunting success, can you share any culinary tips for preparing the venison? I've yet to taste pronghorn I would want to face eating again, but you obviously have had plenty to practice on.

Congratulations on your success!

Nice shooting.

Congrats that looks like a good one. You going for a full head mount on this one or euro again?

Thanks for sharing.

I have some good buddies living in Moorcroft.A bit breezy.Got an antelope permit over by Columbus Mt. Going over in a week or two.Makes good sausage.

Will, it's not Venison, its GOAT meat! ha ha ha Seriously! So anyway... i have "harvested" over 20 of these goats in my time, I think they taste WAY better than any deer I have ever eaten! My wife does most of the cooking, but I really like to cut up a roast or three to shishkabob with something like Lowry's sprinkled on them..... mmmmm good!!

I need to go get "get some"!

I have never tried for antelope. Which is too bad. I lived in Utah for a while, and they were pretty thick where I was. Every time I went shooting, they were all over the place in a couple of areas.

Great job, you need to make some jerky and send it my way the next time I buy a Busse off of you :)

Good on ya! Color me jealous. I am looking forward to getting tags in NorCal for the '10 season. We'll see...

Nice shooting.

That storm was on top of me last night. During my son's football game. Ugh.

Congrats!
I lived in Rapid City, SD during my teenage years and you could drive 20 miles east of town and see 'em next to the road! Too bad I was more into girls than hunting then!:D

Awesome Ken, thanks for sharing that!

I drove through Moorcroft yesterday am around 10 and it was still nice, albeit a bit breezy; coming back to Kalispell from Spearfish, SD. via Devil's Tower--I didn't hit the crappy stuff until crossing over the Big Horn range west of Dayton...it snowed and hailed from the summit to Shell Falls, then again off and on from Greybull to Cody...

The Bill Cody center was revisited yesterday afternoon then again this morning--those lyin' weathermen said the Bear Tooth road was closed this morning, but the folks I talked with later in Red Lodge made it through with no prob's...on the road 9.5 hours today, I took in the Museum of the Rockies for a break...

Stay warm, and another good 'lope score too--both you and BOS!

Shel

p.s. Nifrand, good to see ya posting bud!

Congratulations gentlemen!

Looks like a great time:thumbup:
