All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

I opened the box and the first thing I saw was the curved sheephorn handle. I was a bit nervous because I thought that it may be uncomfortable due to the curve. But all of my fears were quickly cut away when I drew the knife from the heavy duty leather sheath. The handle contours to my hand perfectly. I looked at the blade and I saw the grain of the steel. It is like looking at a fine Japanese sword.

Well, I can't stay too long, I NEED to go use this knife.

Enjoy. You now have one of the finest working knives on the planet. I applaud your motivation to actually use it. That's what Ed makes 'em for.

Congratulations RJ, I'm really happy for you. Use it well.

After your last thread about Ed's knives several people asked me why I don't own one? I've had several chances. I could say it was the money, but in the time I would take to get one from Ed I know I could put that much money away. The answer I finally arrived at is I simply don't deserve one. I'm not a hunter, the knife would never be used as Ed intended. I've never held a knife that feels better in my hand and to me they are just beautiful. I think for me to own one just as a work of art would break Ed's heart and keep someone else from putting it to better use. If that's not a crime it should be, it sure would be a shame.

Congrats, RJ your a lucky man! Wish I could find one. Any Big Game animal would be honored to have an Ed Fowler knife to do the final Honors. Hope to stop by Ed's shop this fall on my yearly trip to Wyo.
Regards, JIM

Good for you, RJ! Use it and enjoy. I have a couple of Pronghorns myself. I'm going to the Oregon Show on the 21st, as is Ed. Really looking forward to checking out his table and saying hi to Ed.
