Pronghorn handle

I have a customer who wants a knife made with a Pronghorn handle. My question is, what should I use to seal the horn? I use tung oil thinned with minerial spirits for deer antler, would the same work on the Pronghorn? And also should it be sanded smooth or left a natural texture? He would prefer natural. Thanks in advance to all who respond.

Everything that I've heard about pronghorn for handle material is that it does not make a very serviceable handle. This is just what I've heard, as I've never tried it yet.

It isn't antler like deer but horn .

I think it has the consistency of glued together hair.
