I've got a 2 burner propane forge, I believe one of the 'Whisper" models. As of late it has started acting up (I've had it now for about 5 years), one of the burners is behaving strangly. The only work I've done on it is to pack fireclay in some of the gaps between bricks, and I think it may be due some maintainence.
One of the burners is putting out a weak blue flame, with very little pressure, and backfires when shut off.
Do the nozzles need occasional cleaning, and if so, how?
