I ran across this web page some time ago and
forgot where it was but just found it again.
this guy lives and teaches in Boise ID has
really good and copious amounts of knowledge
on forges, how they work etc. as well as pictures. blower and atmosphiric (SP)..
well worth the look. He emphasizes to read
all the information and faqs - good gouge.

Ron is a good guy. I have approached him about making me some damascus but he is very busy. He offered to have me over (I live in Boise) and make my own... I'm not quite there yet... but he has a friend who he claims will make damascus for a reasonable price.
