Ok so I enter into a discussion and I go away from the computer for sometime. Should I leave that forum so it doesn't seem I am there when I am not. Stupid? . I do it habitually. I wonder how people navigate this place sometimes.

thanks for any thoughts

I doesn't matter, very few members worry about why another member isn't answering their demands when he shows as online. Sometimes I'm online and a symphony comes up on the radio and I space out until it's over.

Online, on that forum, not paying attention. Whaddaya gonna do, dock me? :p

I've never thought to check if a member is on line. I typicslly post a reply and if the other does not reply someone else will. If I have to leave when I return I just pick up wherever I left off. If its been awhile and a lot of comments are between last time and now I read up to catch up then post accordingly. Come and go as you please. Folks will ask if your opinionn was missed. Sadly if they don't ask then maybe it wasn't missed after all....:D
