Proper WWII dimensions?

I'm thinking on picking up a WWII, but first I need a bit of help from the old guard.. Does anybody have handy one of those great WWII's from back in the days when Bura and the original Kumar were working their magic at HI? What are the dimensions? The weight? As I recall, they were a tad longer than the BAS, weighed in around 18oz, and had a nice distal taper that made it easy to swing all day. Am I in the ballpark? Thanks.

From the Website, which has not changed since Uncle, Bura and Kumar were around:

This 16.5 inch version is about 3/8 inch thick and will weigh in at about 1.5 pounds.

This 18 inch model is 3/8+ inch thick and will weigh in at about 2 pounds give or take a little depending on the kami who make it.
