Oops?

You did it wrong

When I hurt myself with a knife, it's usually with the blade...but the blood is on the handle of yours.

Or....
Basic first aid rule - leave the knife in. Pulling it out can increase the bleeding

At least you made it out.
Was anything following your trail? (would make for a cool story)

I never feel a new knife is mine until I cut myself with it:D.
It was delivered yesterday. Today was the first time I carried it. I cut myself almost immediately this morning. Maybe it's meant to be.

So here's the good part. This happened at work. And I had to call on the radio for "a few alcohol pads and bandaids". "Is it for you?" my boss, who was just admiring my new knife, replied...

I had such a long record going, and then a few weeks back I nicked myself while cutting some rope. First time I'd cut myself with a pocket knife in probably 15 years, and it bled like crazy!

I actually think it is good to occasionally nick yourself with a blade (nothing major). It reminds me to treat all knives with respect.

That's not your blood.

You were in a knife fight with 4 members of a motorcycle gang and that is their blood. You were the only one who walked away. REMEMBER? *hint* *hint*
