Proposition: make Mecha the sword subforum moderator

[Mecha]

The sword subforum is adrift at sea, with nobody at the helm. It needs a skilled navigator in the wheelhouse. Esav used to cruise through there all the time, but he hasn't been around lately. :[

There's no telling when there will be another Princess Mononoke moment, and the sword subforum is a magnet for "what it's worth" threads in need of a gentle reminder that value assessments of fake katanas are for paying members here. Sword subforum also gets its fair share of weirdos, from those who just need a little act-right, to outright trolls who need a formal introduction to W&C.

Qualifications include, but aren't limited to:

-Genuine sword dork
-Always studying up on swords
-Log into Bladeforums daily, forever, and always
-Mastery of written English language
-Will rule with an iron will, cudgel in one hand, honeypot in the other
-Take duties and responsibilities seriously
-Thick skin

Like Atlas (or more like Sisyphus ), I will shoulder the heavy burden of moderating the sword subforum. 'Tis a small price to pay and I do it gladly and with modest gusto, all for that sweet, sweet red avatar banner. And also because I love Bladeforums.

What say ye? What could possibly go wrong?

The sword subforum is the closest thing Bladeforums has to a furry forum. PracTac comes close sometimes though.
