Aloha ALL,

This knife has been featured in publications in France and Germany, and most recently it was mentioned in TW, TK, and Handgunner...however, I got a testimony that I just had to share from a Sgt. in NY: (used with his permission)

I am a Sgt. in the Erie County Sheriff's Dept. in Buffalo NY, a few weeks ago we had a mentally unstable inmate attempting to hang himself in our holding center, another Sgt. arrived on the scene and he cut a large (2" in diameter) tightly wrapped bed sheet off the man with one quick swipe of your boker rescom knife, I have to tell you I have never seen a rescue style knife work in such a way. I was so impressed I immediately ordered one from your wife's ebay store for myself and am currently proposing to our department that we switch to your knife. Please share this testimony with all, your knife has saved a mans life, you should be proud of that.

Sincerely,
Sgt. M. DiJoseph ECSO

:cool:THAT is awesome...

I just wanted to share with you guys...
God bless and be safe all!

Those rescoms really are about the perfect little rescue knife. I use mine all the time while climbing to cut webbing and cord without having to worry about stabbing myself or my partner. It's so small that I don't even notice it until I need it.

Good to hear that the Rescom safed a man's life!
We did everything to make this lil tool very efficient.
If you visit the German website:
www.boker.de

and then scroll down to a "movie" icon which is called "Film- und Fernsehbeiträge", there you will find a "Demo Rescom video", it is the last video, at the bottom of the list!

I cut a lot of things with it. Denim jeans, paracord, climbing rope, seat belts and even steel straps, high pressure tube with and without reinforcement...
The only "damage" I noticed was, that I broke the first tooth from the serrated part of the blade...
This is definitely a cutting machine!
Thanks Chad!!!

Cool, very cool! You should be proud! Why is this story not on your web site, bro ;)

great vid, never knew about the films.

anyway, i wonder if there will be a bigger handle (Hyper size) version of the ResCom, and probably a longer blade, maybe 440c.

WOW, that was YOU demolishing everything with the RESCOM in that video??? I shared the video when it first came out with my co-workers and a few Sgt.'s and they were tripping out. Especially at the end credits where I am called a "police officer".:p

Mahalo much to you my friend.

God bless and regards to the crew!!!
