Does anyone have long term carry experiences with either of these knives? I've never used an auto before, but I recently moved to an area that allows them and I thought I might celebrate. I want something to carry at work, I will cut some plastic wrap/cardboard/zip ties but I'll probably only use the knife once or twice per day. I'd ideally want one that is pretty thin behind the edge. Any experiences/recommendations are welcome.

They're both nice knives, although I've never owned a Godson. I've had a couple TR-3s, auto and manual. I really like the TR-3 auto. It's pretty much what I compare other side opening autos. It's dead reliable, sturdy, comfortable and has a good blade steel. All at a reasonable price. I think the blade on the TR-3 is a little more versatile. Check the auto subforum and you'll see that Protech is generally very well respected for their side openers. I don't think you could go wrong either way.
