I have a ProTech Malibu blue textured and really like it. I wanted to add another and I am thinking about the textured bronze version. Does anyone out there know how it holds up with the patina? Does it look good with handleing like the solid handled bronze? And… the weight, is it nice? I know it’s 5 oz but I would think it might make the action smooth. Thanks in advance.

I haven’t had the Malibu but other solid copper and brass knives I have owned looked better with age. Plus you can always make them shiny again and start over!

That's what I love about copper and brass (and bronze) knives too. That easily renewable finish. You can do it with other metals also, but theres nothing like putting a fresh hand satin finish on a some copper scales and then watching them turn in the coming days.
