Hello,

between the protech Sprint and SBR, which one would you take If you had to pick a sub 3” auto to carry at the office or with a suit?

Something light that will be used for basic light-EDC tasks.

How do they compare?
Which one would you recommend and why?

thanks in advance for sharing your experience with these models

If you can go to 3", I'd recommend the Newport.
If it has to UNDER 3", it's a tough call. I'm not a fan of the SBR, from a strictly aesthetic/style perspective; but the Sprint is just so darned small.

If you're open to door #3, what about a Launch 11? *I have NO experience with Kershaw autos; and I'm not suggesting they're of Protech quality... but it's a 2.75" blade with a decent sized handle

If your interested in the Sprint, take a look at the ProTech Half Breed as well. Same length blade as the Sprint but with a full sized handle. I went this route because the Sprint and my Kershaw 4 both fired so hard it was difficult for me to control with the shorter handles. The Half Breed solved that problem...

take a look at the ProTech Half Breed.
I haven't been keeping up - didn't know about this model. (In my defense, autos are illegal here; so they're not really on my watch list). Looks like a useful little knife.

Any slim Protech will meet your needs and then some..... Pick what your personal intuition says
