Whats up everybody? Ive recently been carrying a few of my new catches and one brand i really like allot Protech. As the title states the TR2 in green. This blade comes in one of many favorites in steel of mine 154-cm with a full flat grind and a stonewash finish being 3in in length. TR2's overall length comes in at 7.5in with its handle at 4.5in and at first i wanted something a little bigger i own quite a few protechs and this one never caught my eye. Until the green one when i seen that i said ill give it a try and wow! Just like with pretty much all my other knives from them i love it when this thing is in your hand and you let it rip it really packs a punch it fires hard and has absolutely zero play it locks up solid as a rock no play in any direction which i cant say about all auto knife companies. They call the color green but mine came as it looks on the website picture more of an od darker green so if your lookin for a lighter shade this ain't really for you. But that being said i wouldn't have bought it otherwise. I also have to mention the blade centering it came perfect right out of the box no touching on either side of the handle. I do serveral cuting task a week just with some of the stuff i do and ive been carrying this one for a little over 30 days and wow. Cuts cardboard like a champ wood no problem for carving and such. Piercing no problemii with its spear point blade its perfect for right thru plastic ,cardboard ,paper ,rubber ,screen i brought it camping and it came in handy its obviously not a camp knife but during a wind storm at 130 in the morning it comes in pretty handy when you need to use duck tape and some zip ties to fix a broken tent pole lol thats a whole other post. I did have one small complaint on the pocket clip it needs to be adjusted so it can be taken in and out with some ease wasnt really an option and that really annoyed me when i was really busy trying to get things done. I dont need the clip so strong and at a steep angle so you have to get it adjusted just right to take it in or out of your pocket. So i made a slight adjustment and so far so good i dont need to pry it on or off its just enough to stay put even under stress and be taken in and out of my pocket with some ease. I think we all pretty much know what a good fitting clip feels like and this is that. I dont know if there all like that but mine needed it. All that being said as long as you follow your state and local laws and you want a medium size edc/tactical knife then you may want to give these a try i know ill be getting a few more when i can. This knife is now one of my favs great steel blade held its edge excellently i haven't touched it up once its not the sharpest after 30 plus days but its slicing and dicing. The handle feels great in hand and has good jimping useable for sure unfortunately the blade does not but that hasnt bothered me at all so its cool. Fit and finish on this thing was excellent no issues there it came out of the box flawlessly. So all in all i highly recommend this blade Protech really got this blade right! Have a good day everybody thanks for reading.
