Hi everyone - - I have a few knives (slip joints & lock backs) with a decorative type etcing on their blades. Nothing high end - just the names of the manufacturer, a trademark name, or that of the organization that the knife was produced for as a promotion. (I have a knife with an etching for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation with sentimental value that I would like to protect especially.) They are users, so its no big deal - - but I'm wondering if there is a method to help protect the etching a bit ? - - I did a search through Google, but mainly came up with references on how to etch, and on etching & damascus blades. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Best regards, - - -
