Protection from G10?

What kinds of facial protection do you guys use when working with G10? I usually use a cheap 3M respirator with goggles, but my face and eyes get irritated every time even if I'm just doing some light sanding by hand. Any suggestions for nice goggles that seal really well?

Also, has anyone tried something like this? And if so does it work well?

I've been looking at one of these myself. I've got one of the cheeper half face ones (Lowes hardware), but have been looking at something like this to use for various things.

My wife would run shrieking from the house if she came down in the basement and saw this on my head.

I was thinking of getting one of those for that and for the apocalypse ;)

I bought a clear big tote and cut hand holes in it ;)

I figured it was probably a little overkill for tinkering around with G10, I guess for the price I can just put up with a little irritation.

I usually just sand the G10 wet so that the glass fibers don't get airborne. Nitrile gloves help keep the hands from absorbing too many micro-splinters. This is one of the reasons I like working with phenolic and wood instead of glass and carbon fiber stuff...

this^. But I use a Trend Powered respirator these days so don't have any problems. Even my allergy to Yew is controllable if I use a respirator and wear nitrile/latex gloves. I still have to shower straight away afterwards as the dust gets in your hair and down your collar.
