Sorry guys trying to post the pic,I use the protective sleeve cause I have my flashlight attached to the same paracord and carry them together in the watch pocket and the light scratches it up

I was just pulling your leg a bit, B BITEME , thanks for being a good sport.

i used heat shrink tubing too for carrying vinox minichamp on my keychain. did the protective job sure. but i simply didn't use the sak often enough, so i retired it from my keychain and substituted a quark tool with a non-dulling stanley #5192 blade. (number off the top of my head, could be wrong). i use the blade regularly, for parting snack boxes, opening food\drink packages, cutting cardboard.

I came to this in a roundabout way. After watching IAwoodsman's video, I made a sheath out of webbing. It was meant to be a belt sheath, which works well when one is tired of things bumping around in the front pocket. However, carrying in the pocket inside the sheath also makes it less annoying. The knife seems to be better behaved, if that makes any sense. It doesn't slide around as much, and stands up straight. I'm pretty sure I have seen people carrying pocket knives in leather sleeves. Didn't make sense until now.

Another advantage of carrying an SAK in a pocket slip or a sheath in your pocket is that it reduces the amount of pocket fuzz and other assorted grit and dirt that accumulates in your knife over time.

Pushin' your luck there, fella. Everyone knows that relations between knives are prohibited in Switzerland.
Probably a good thing, imagine the Sarah McLachlan commercials that would arise from a bunch of mongrel knives in need of homes.

You're going to pay big time for the ear worm. Watch your back.

Tell me about it. Been looking at the beagle staring at me since I typed that wishing she'd stop... Makes me feel guilty and I haven't even been up to anything.
