I am calling these my spearpoint R.U.K.'s (rough use knives).
The jade one has textured scales and the other has black linen micarta with a smooth, yet grippy finish.
Both knives have a hand rubbed scotch brite finish with some forge residue left over.
The jade one is a commissioned piece, the customer wanted a hard use knife that would work well in SERE/survival situations.
Hopefully it will fit his needs.
