All 532 fans,
Don't tell anybody, but I have been informed that Pete has built a desert ironwood 532 and my source tells me it came out looking like a million dollars. Now this will be a real bargain if it enters production because my source also promised me it would be priced at a significant discount from the $1,000,000 value.
Who is drooling now?

Larry,

Fantastic! Forget the picture! BG-42 I trust as well. When can I place my order

Yeah BABY!!!
Don't ya just love all this rumor and everything ? Makes the actual event a bit more special.

Now that's what I call a hint!

I really doubt that a knife like that would cause me to drool.

Help! Do you really like the 532? Then I need your help. As you know, Pete had a 532 made with Iron wood handles and it looks fantastic! But...
Here is the problem, would you like to see it in Iron wood or would you rather see it with rosewood handles with "2000" laser etched across it?
Let me guess the answer!
What we need to do is hit our Vp of Sales and Marketing with a barrage of emails expressing our disdain with the rosewood/2000 idea.
That is, of course, unless you LIKE the rosewood/2000 idea. :-)

or send it to me and i will forward.
Al means well, we just need to enlighten him!

Joe,
I've tried sending two different emails to the address you posted. I simply copied and pasted the address so I know I didn't typo it. Could you double check it please? I am pretty psyched about the reintroduction of the 532 but I won't be buying one with "2000" etched on it anywhere (unless maybe it is small and tasteful and restricted to the tang). Frankly I'll be glad when New Years Day comes and goes I'm so sick of hearing about Y2K, the New Millenium, etc.

I've got a nice letter ready to go, now all I need is the address. Thanks for keeping us posted Joe.

Paul,
I think our posts crosssed in the mail!
Please let me know if that one does not work.

Thanks!

Joe -

You da man! Let's give the people what they asked for. This model was an awesome group effort - even though I wanted to take all the credit. (It's an engineering thing)

Joe / Pete:

I've sent Joe an email requesting it be delivered to Al. One guess what position I supported

All right! It sounds like "mission accomplished". Al hates me but at least I think I got what we wanted! This is still premature but it looks like it may be offered on Pete's with options not including rosewood with "2000" lasered on the handle.
Thanks folks!
