So I have been trying to get into making folders lately. I didn't realize how expensive it can be just buying the mill bits, reamers, titanium, stainless, and other odds and ends that go into making one of these. I need to build up a good stock of stuff before I make too many more. Anyways, I like this pattern and will do some along the exact same lines soon.

It is a framelock with .150 titanium and CPM154CM steel. The clip is carbon fiber.

I was told by a serious folder collector to make sure that my folders have the look that identifies them as mine. So far my identifying marks on a fixed blade have been hamons and forged finish. Hamons are notoriously hard to get on CPM154CM, so I thought I would go for the forged finish look.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks

Nice! Big fan of the hammered look.

It's grippy and if you ding it the ding can blend in.

Love it! Hope to see more!

I really dig your fixed blades, especially ones with hamons. Hamons are not too common on folders. Could be just what the knife community needs.;)

Thanks guys. I will be making these for sale soon. Dinging the blade won't be easy. It is 61rc with cryo from peters. I also like the rough texture. It is kind of a pain to do but the end result is good.

I like it! What do you think about doing a single divide line at the bottom of the texturing on the handle, turning it into a faux bolster?
