Prototype Framelock information

Hello all, I found this knife in my safe today. Its dated 1998 so Ive had it for awhile. The box only has a "prototype" sticker on it. My search fu is weak today. Any help IDing this knife would be appreciated.

Congrat's on a awesome find!

What you have there is a Prototype Benchmade 750 Pinnacle. The 750 Pinnacle was released in 1999, ATS-34 steel. Yours is the pre-release Prototype, very rare!

To think you had it all these years and didn't know it.

To find a mint condition 750 these day's is hard enough, especially a plain edge one, but it's a prototype too? Fantastic piece you have there. Awesome find indeed!

That's a beautiful example of the 750, in plain edge satin finish, and then a prototype as well? Nice safe find! :thumbup:
